Loving yourself is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth . It means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness, taking care of your own needs, and not sacrificing your well-being to please others.
We are all guilty of this, whether it is a loved one, a sibling or a friend. Putting others first becomes a habit more than their deserving the love and appreciating who you are.
We don’t have to love everything about ourselves, and certain days will be easier than others. Just like with other long-term relationships, sometimes loving ourselves is “just commitment, perseverance, acceptance, or general neutrality”. And don’t expect to cultivate new thought patterns overnight: Like any habit, accepting and being kinder to yourself takes practice.
I hope this helps!
LOVE YOURSELF!
